2020 Points Fund at 34 Raceway to Exceed $20,000

34 Raceway staff is in full swing with the 2020 events schedule after a very rain soaked and shortened season in 2019. The schedule has changed slightly since release in November and one more change is the addition of an increased points fund which will top $20,000 in cash & prizes for the season.

305 Sprint Car Points Fund will be $500 to win and compliments of Maxim Chassis and Midland Performance, drivers with 100% attendance will be entered into a drawing for a 2020 Maxim Chassis. The chassis will be drawn for at the 2020 Season Banquet and drivers must be in attendance for an opportunity to claim the prize. The 305 class will pay points fund through 10th place if 10 drivers remain eligible throughout the season.

IMCA Late Models will be $500 to win & drivers with 100% attendance will be entered into a drawing for a carbon fiber drive shaft compliments of Fast Shafts by Axle Exchange. The drive shaft will be drawn for at the 2020 Season Banquet and drivers must be in attendance for an opportunity to claim the prize. The class will pay points fund through 10th place if 10 drivers remain eligible throughout the season.

IMCA Stock Cars will continue the Mt. Dew Big 10 Challenge in 2020 and the season points championship will be $1,000 to win. To qualify for the $1,000 Mt. Dew Big 10 Challenge Bonus, drivers must be registered for the season at 34 Raceway, attend all Big 10 Challenge Events, and remain in good standing with IMCA & 34 Raceway during the season. If the winner of the final Big 10 Challenge race is an eligible driver under the above qualifications, they will receive a $1,000 cash bonus at the final event. Class will pay points fund through 10th place if 10 drivers remain eligible throughout the season.

Both IMCA Sport Mods and IMCA Modifieds will be competing for a $1,000 to win points fund during the season. The classes will pay points fund through 10th place if 10 drivers remain eligible throughout the season.

IMCA Sport Compacts will compete for $200 to win & the Truck Class will compete for $150. Classes will pay points fund through 10th place if 10 drivers remain eligible throughout the season.

The 2020 season points banquet will be held at Pzazz! Event Center on Friday, November 20, 2020 and points fund monies along with contingency prizes and awards will be distributed to winners at the banquet. As in 2019, Season Champions will receive the driver + 3 guests with complimentary banquet entry.

For drivers to qualify for the above, all of the following requirements must be satisfied:

  1. 305 Sprints, IMCA Mods, IMCA Sport Mods, IMCA Sport Compacts, Mini Hauler Trucks: Driver must maintain 90% attendance during the 2020 season at 34 Raceway for points fund monetary payout.
