USAC 410 Sprint Car series coming to 34 Raceway Friday, Aug. 30
BURLINGTON, IA – You’ll be hanging on to your seats at 34 Raceway this
Friday, August 30 when the USAC Non-Wing 410 Sprints will be taking on
the 3/8 high banked for ruts and guts racing.
Dave Darnold holds a narrow 5 point lead over Bryan Clausen in the
series point race as of their last race at Kokomo Speedway in Indiana
August 24. Ten races will remain in the 41 race series following their
stop at 34 Raceway. Its only the second stop in Iowa this season, the
other being at Oskaloosa where Tony Stewart sustained a broken tibia
and fibula in a sprint car crash on Aug. 5.
Also on the program will be the sprints ($750 to win, $125 to start),
and the IMCA Sport Mods ($500 to win, $75 to start). Pit gates open
at 3, grandstands 5 and qualifying to start at 7 p.m.. PitPass: $35.
Adult Grandstand Admission $25.00, Seniors $23.00, Students $13.00,
Kids 10 and under free.
Pit gates open 3:00, Grandstands 5, Hot Laps 6:30, Qualifying 7.
