Slocum 50 Weekend Details

The Slocum 50 weekend is upon us on April 18th and 19th at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa. You'll find key details about the event here and also on our Facebook page throughout the week. Messages received on race day may receive a delayed response as this weekend is a busy one!

Camping:

1. Camping is first come, first served. There is no cost to camp.
2. There are no public electric hookups and there are no water / sewer hookups. Everything is dry so please prepare. There are no showers but there will be porta potties available.
3. Please do not leave glass or other debris on the ground & discard your trash.
4. Pets are allowed on our property however you are responsible for them at all times. Please pick up your pet’s waste and maintain their behaviors and control at all times on our property.
5. Camping is around the north boundary fence and if we are full there, go along the east fence along the roadway. Parking elsewhere may result in being asked to relocate. Do not move any marked barricades / barrels and block parking in the field with your camper. You will have to move.
6. We do fill up quickly on busy weekends so showing up on race day or near race time and trying to park could be less than ideal.
   Additional camping is available at Geode State Park which is very nearby to the track as well as Big Hollow which is a short drive to the track.
   Hotels are available as well and the preferred places to stay for 34 Raceway guests is Catfish Bend Inn or Fun City Resort.

Tickets:
Reserved tickets are available online only and will end 24 hours prior to the race date. That does also include advanced GA tickets. No advanced pit passes are being sold at this time. Tickets will be available at the gate on race day for both the grandstands and the pits. We take cash, cards & Apple Pay at the gates.
NOTE: Top 3 Rows of the Grandstands are RESERVED.
Friday Prices: $25 Adult GA, Student 11-17 GA: $20, Senior 62+ GA: $20, Kids 10 & Under GA: FREE, Pit Pass: $40
Saturday Prices: $35 Adult GA, Student 11-17 GA: $30, Senior 62+ GA: $30, Kids 10 & Under GA: FREE, Pit Pass: $45

Handicapped Accommodations:
Handicapped parking is near the main concession. Handicapped accessible restroom is inside the front gate and wheelchair seating is available on the main grandstand which has a wheelchair ramp. If you need other special accommodations, please reach out prior to race day.

Food / Drink:
Food & Beverage are sold on site. Our concessions are CASH ONLY. There is an ATM on site but the concessions are cash only. We do have beer and seltzers available at the concession. NO carry-in food or beverage is permitted. Small 12 pack coolers are permitted but you must open them for inspection upon entry.

Carry-In Items:
Carry-In food and beverage are NOT permitted. Bags may be subject to search and clear bags are recommended. You can lay down blankets from Noon - 2 PM on Friday & Saturday. NOTE: Top 3 Rows of the Grandstands are RESERVED. If you lay a blanket down there, you may be forced to move by those having purchased reserved seats. We are not responsible for lost or stolen blankets if left. Please do not use tape on the blankets. Please use bungee cords or other means to secure your items.

Slocum Apparel:
Apparel was shipped on Friday, April 11th for pre-orders. All remaining apparel will be available on race day when the main gates open at 5 PM.
